NORWALK, CT – Stepping Stones believes learning shouldn’t stop just because the school year ends. The children’s museum offers summer camp programs that not only encourage fun and creativity, but help ensure young children remain engaged in the learning process. Dinosaurs, robots and astronomy are just a few of the exciting themes campers can explore each week at Stepping Stones in Norwalk.
“The goal is to give more school-age children an enriching summer experience in an effort to avoid the ‘summer slide’ that can happen when there is a gap in structured learning,” said Rhonda Kiest, CEO and President of Stepping Stones.
The summer camp program for children ages 5 – 8 years old runs Monday through Friday, starting June 19th. Half-day sessions are from 9:00 am – noon and full-day are 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
